This Swiss cheese chicken recipe is an easy weeknight meal! Chicken breasts are covered in a creamy sauce and cheese and topped with crispy bread crumbs.
When it comes to easy, family friendly recipes, chicken is always the star. It's super versatile and pretty hard to mess up.
That's why I love this one-pan no peek chicken (my most popular recipe!) and this artichoke chicken (tastes just like hot artichoke dip!). Of course, if your family likes a recipe with a little kick, you'll want to try slow cooker buffalo ranch chicken—it makes the best sliders!
I first tried Swiss cheese chicken—aka Swiss chicken, creamy Swiss chicken bake, Swiss cheese chicken casserole—when I was in college. My roommate made it and I was in heaven from the first bite!
I've seen different variations of this baked casserole. The most common chicken and Swiss cheese calls for topping the dish with stuffing mix.
As much as I love decadent comfort food, all that breading takes it too far over the top for me. I'm good with a solid serving of crunchy Panko bread crumbs!
This Swiss cheese chicken recipe calls for white wine, but if you don't have that readily available, you could use an aged white wine vinegar instead. Don't like Accent seasoning? Maybe try a titch of your favorite seasoned salt.
Baked chicken recipes are my go-to when having company over for dinner. They're pretty affordable, quick to prepare, easy to double, and always taste delish.
We often serve these easy chicken enchiladas when entertaining for all those reasons! Bonus if it's Taco Tuesday.
If you haven't tried creamy Swiss chicken, today's the day! The ingredients list is short and the directions are easy. It's basically layer, layer, layer!
Plus, Swiss cheese chicken never fails to please—and feed—a crowd. Bonus: you can easily keep the ingredients for this casserole recipe on hand at all times in case of a last-minute dinner emergency!

My family loved this recipe & asked that I make it again soon. Of note, my adult daughter tends to be quite fussy, so her approval means something! 😉
