Slow-cooked ribeye steak is a classic way to make ribeye steak. The steak cooks in a soup mixture with potatoes and onion for a flavorful and tender steak.
Ingredients
- 4 pounds ribeye, with the fat trimmed off
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 large baking potatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 packages Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 cups water
How to Make Slow-Cooked Ribeye Steak
- Season the ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, and onion powder to taste.
- Heat 2 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet. Add the steaks and cook them until browned on both sides.
- Add half of the diced potatoes and diced onions to the bottom of a slow cooker and top them with the steaks followed by the remaining potatoes and onions.
- Add the Lipton onion soup mix and water.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (or cook on high for 3 to 4 hours). The meat should be fork-tender when done.

- 1 bottle of steak sauce
- 8-10 red potatoes
- Salt, to taste

- 2 tablespoon butter

How to Make Ribeye Steak in a Crockpot
- Season the steak with the seasoning and olive oil. Place the steak into the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour about ¾ of the steak sauce over the steaks.
- Cover the steaks with foil and grease the top of the foil with melted butter.
- Add the red potatoes and season them with salt and black pepper to taste. Cover them with foil.
- Place the corn on a sheet of aluminum foil and top it with the butter, and salt and black pepper to taste. Roll the corn in the foil to seal it.
- Place the ears of corn in the crockpot and add the lid.
- Cook for about 6 to 7 hours.

- In a bowl, mix the cayenne pepper with the brown mustard, garlic powder, celery seed, chili powder, and paprika until combined.
- Rub the seasoning all over the steaks.
- Place the steak in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add about 1 cup of water to the crockpot.
- Pour in the barbeque sauce. Cover the crockpot and cook it on medium for about 3 hours.

- Place the frozen ribeye in a crockpot.
- Add 2 cups of beef broth.
- Add 1 sliced onion and 1 sliced carrot to the crockpot.
