This healthy chocolate caramel peanut butter smoothie tastes like dessert! Change up that ol' chocolate protein shake by adding sugar-free caramel syrup, peanut butter powder, and a pinch of kosher sea salt.

I totally get it. Healthy chocolate caramel peanut butter smoothie is a mouthful, but it totally should be with how delicious a mouthful of this protein shake tastes.
I've taken one of my favorite protein-packed low-carb chocolate peanut butter smoothie (another mouthful!) and tweaked three important ways. One, I used Purely Inspired Decadent Chocolate protein powder instead of French Vanilla for added chocolate flavor.
Two, I threw in some Torani Sugar-Free Caramel syrup. And three, I added a pinch of kosher sea salt.
HOLY MOLY. I kid you not when I say this healthy chocolate caramel peanut butter smoothie with its hint of salt and caramel—and more than a hint of chocolate—tastes just like dessert. Don't forget that powdered peanut butter, which enhances all those other flavors.
And why shouldn't it? I feel like every meal should taste like dessert if it's not going to be dessert, especially breakfast. Granted, I'm still a huge fan of healthy strawberry orange protein smoothie and I'm always down for anything with pineapple like this pineapple coconut protein smoothie.
But if I had my choice between a protein shake that tastes like salted caramel, chocolate and peanut butter and one that tastes like fresh fruit, I'm going with the first option every time. Or almost every time because sometimes I really do want all that pineapple.
I bet you can't believe this healthy chocolate caramel peanut butter smoothie has less than 120 calories! Granted, the carbs are a bit higher at 10, but it tastes so scrumptious you won't need that Reese's peanut butter cup for a midday snack.
And if you do, go ahead and whip up a batch of these healthy Reese's peanut butter cups. They'll satisfy those sweets cravings without sabotaging your "swimsuit season is around the corner" goals.
