So do you leave it in the little white/silver holder or do you remove that? Sorry cant think of the actual name atm. 😂
Anthony
I literally was wondering the same thing I guess I'll find out... hopefully I don't catch my airfryer on fire.
Ms. Ruby
I would think that since the rest of the instructions were so specific, we can assume that she would have said if we should remove the product from the bowl. HOWEVER, as they say, you know what happens when you assume. That being said, Anthony, is your air fryer still working? JUST CURIOUS!

Most pot pies sold around here are in the card board. Just
Leave them in the card and they will be great. I was also told to put foil around the edges so the don’t burn After 20-25 turn your fryer to 400 and cook 1-2 minutes to brown the crust. They turn out excellent.
Brenda
Thank you. I cook mine in the air fryer for around 15 mins in said cardboard, enough to crisp the crust some, and then heat it in the microwave for about 2 mins and waah-laa lol hot pot pie with crispy crust.
Ann Keenan
I wrap the bottom of the paper dish and up around the edges of the crust with foil to prevent it from burning. It works perfectly.
Ms. Ruby
So, Ashlie, did you cook the pot pie in the bowl, or did you take it out? How did it turn out, and would you use the air fryer method again?
Mary
I usually line my air fryer basket with foil. It has never hurt it. An air fryer is more like a convection oven than a microwave. I would worry not using the tray. There would probably be a mess going on.
Nick
So what’s the consensus to the question about leaving the pot pie in the cardboard liner? I believe it’s silvered on the inside to help the outside of the pot pie brown properly. That may also help it in the air fryer, but is it likely to burn? Has anyone tried it yet?
Anna Orosco
Leave in liner bake at 350 for 30 minutes perfect each time
Mandy
I took mine out of container and it ended up sticking however it turned out perfectly browned and cooked nicely.
April
How about when using an air fryer with shelves instead of a basket?
