I don't know about you but when it comes to smoothies, our family seems to make them in phases. And those phases seem to coincide with whether the blender is inside our outside the appliance garage (a fancy name for a cupboard tucked into the corner of the kitchen counter).
We actually really love smoothies like this pineapple coconut protein smoothie. The easier the smoothie the better because that means my youngest can whip up a healthy smoothie without much help from Mom...and that means more time for Mom to drink her favorite caffeinated beverage uninterrupted.
This 3-ingredient peanut butter & jelly smoothie is not only super easy but also fairly low calorie even with the peanut butter thanks to frozen berries with no added sugar and So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Almondmilk. I love using almondmilk in my smoothies because it has less calories and sugar than milk, especially if you go with the unsweetened variety. Plus it has a much better flavor than regular ol' milk, at least in my opinion.
A couple of my kids aren't fans of PB&J (who are these people???) so they didn't love the flavor combo of this 3-ingredient peanut butter & jelly smoothie as much as I did. But don't mind; they can totally not drink it so I can enjoy more of it.
I recently discovered So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Almondmilk in the refrigerated section at Target, but not every Target carries it so make sure you check online at Target.com.
I was surprised to find that along with being dairy-free, it's also lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, carrageenan-free, vegan certified, and free of preservatives. This clean and simple almondmilk has only 5 to 8 ingredients. Not only that, So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Almondmilk comes in plant-based bottle. They take renewable sugarcane and turn it into a bottle; being made from at least 80% plants, it's recyclable. That makes it both body friendly and earth friendly!
Speaking of Target, if you don't have the Target Cartwheel app, you are seriously missing out. Last time I shopped Target it saved me an extra 20% off kids clothes and more than a few dollars off my groceries. Before heading to Target to pick up your bottles of So Delicious Dairy Free, download Cartwheel and then use it to get 20% off So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Almondmilk from now until March 17th.
